Corpus Christi - Nueces Health Department covers two cities and a large county.  Other than Dallas, Houston and San Antonio it has the most sophisticated animal control program in the south west.   Look at the organization and compare with the VDH and the Richmond City.  How many health agencies have an occupational health role, should they? Why?  Is environmental health the correct placement for animal control? Why?   How does the organization relate to the ten main goals of public health (you were provided these at the first lecture of the semester)?
